seeks noms for Caribbean Women in Tech to Watch for 2019 Women in Tech graphic

Women have been among the “hidden figures” in technology throughout history, offering little encouragement to girls and young women to enter the scientific fields. In recent years, a worldwide groundswell of advocacy has led to more participation by females in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.

SiliconCaribe, a longtime proponent of Caribbean Women in Tech wants to not only recognize them, but illuminate paths for more and more women professionals in the sector. Its first annual Caribbean Women in Tech to Watch list will show the world what Caribbean women have done, can do, and will continue to do to uplift the region with STEM pursuits.
